Dr. Amos Chege Kirongo Clinches 1st Runners-Up in Prestigious Utumishi Bora Awards

The Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) community celebrates with great pride the outstanding achievement of Dr. Amos Chege Kirongo, PhD., who was awarded 1st Runners-Up in the “Research and Writing” category at the 11th edition of the prestigious Utumishi Bora Awards (UBA).

The award ceremony was held on Saturday, 29th November 2025, at the Best Western Premier in Westlands, Nairobi. Dr. Chege, who serves as the Coordinator of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) within the Directorate of Research, Innovation, Commercialization, and Extension (RICE) and is also a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department under the School of Computing and Informatics, represented MUST at this high-profile national forum.

The Utumishi Bora Awards celebrate professional excellence, integrity, and service among Christian professionals across various sectors in Kenya.
