The University highly regrets the untimely demise of Mr. Moses Onyango, a first year student of Bachelor of Business Administration.

At this moment of mourning, the University wishes to appeal to all the Meru University of Science and Technology community to observe peace and maintain calmness to enable preparations for the funeral. A postmortem examination will provide clarity on the cause of the student’s death.

The University is addressing itself to all the other issues raised by the students concerning this through their student leaders and it is expected that an amicable solution will be agreed upon.

All the staff and students are notified that the normal University operations shall continue as the aforementioned matters are dealt with.
