The University Senate in its special meeting held on October 31^st,2016 at 2:00 pm deliberated in the disruption of University activities due to student unrest and riots occasioned by demise of one of the students Mr. Moses Onyango. It was noted that in the current state of affairs, it was impossible for the University’s Main Campus, Nchiru to continue with normal operations. Consequently, it was agreed that the University’s Main Campus, Nchiru be closed indefinitely with immediate effect. All students must clear from the University’s Main Campus by 4:00 pm today.
