Equity Leaders Club

Meru Chapter

Profile

The Equity leaders Club is a countrywide initiative by Equity Group Foundation. It is composed of the top Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E students in every district who qualify to join the bank for internship, former Wings to Fly Scholars and a few volunteers. Meru Chapter has over 100 members who are diverse, well-motivated and highly gifted.

Among our activities is Mentorship to high school students and marketing for the bank. Marketing acts as a source of income for most of our members who do it both at school and at their home branches. The club also takes place in annual congresses held by the foundation and supports the bank through offering personnel for different projects.

Moreover, the club participates in holiday branch-based mentorship forums, i.e. Scholar Academic Forum Support (SAFS). It also participates in charity events and giving back to the community through visiting Children homes and cleaning the environment like litter and garbage collection among others.
