The Directorate of Career and Alumni Services is organizing the Meru University of Science & Technology Career Fair Week scheduled for 25th to 27th March 2025. This is second annual event the Directorate is holding as one of the career guidance services for both high school learners and the Meru University of Science & Technology students.
The theme of this year’s career fair is: Leveraging on greening career opportunities to maximize individual. We are all aware that the whole world is touched and bruised by negative climate changes brought about by engaging into destructive activities in the name of career. Therefore, the theme is reminding us to be watchful of our activities stemming from career choices that we make to continuously take care of our environment.
We think this event would be helpful for high school learners while choosing their careers. Besides, our engagement with high schools will create an opportunity for building linkages and mentorship programmes for academic growth and posterity.
We seek to provide career information about University education programmes we are offering. We are bringing in various experts and professionals from industries to share their experiences on matters of career choices to University students. The Professionals will display their innovation during this period. In addition, the career fair will be graced by three key guest speakers namely:
-
-
- Solomom Mugambi- Lead Consultant in East African Seed Company.
- Romanus Odhiambo, Vice Chancellor Meru University of Science & Technology
- Livingstone Makori, founder of Corporate Career Academy and Head of KCB Sales in the Region.
-
These speakers will be flanked by various speakers from the industries and labour market.
Therefore, we are inviting the University staff, students and high schools to attend and be part of this annual event. We appreciate you and it would be an honor for your participating in this fair.
