Green Print Initiative

Students from Peace Ambassadors Kenya Meru University of Science and Technology Chapter, under its Green-Print Initiative, on 20th June, 2018 held an Environmental Clean-up at the University that was commissioned by the Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Charity Gichuki and the Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor (AFP) Dr. Guyo S.  Huka.

The initiative was organised by the Peace Ambassadors Kenya Meru University of Science and Technology Chapter, which mobilized seventy students to hold the clean-up exercise within the Campus. The initiative was meant to instill a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness amongst the students.

Prof. Gichuki commended the students for this initiative and encouraged them to participate in other similar initiatives.

The Students Association of Meru University (SAMU) Chairperson, Wangila Wabomba, and the Academics Secretary, Washington Murimi, emphasized on the need for students to care for the environment.
