Smart House

This is a project that Meru University of Science and Technology has developed to automate some basic operations in a house such as switching lights on and off and other appliances and also the locking and unlocking of doors. This is done though a mobile phone. The phone interacts with the system which is installed in the house sending appropriate commands to be executed by the system. We have developed an android application to be installed in the user’s phone which upon launching enables the user interact with various appliances by touching of the phone buttons. This
system enhances the security of a house and improves convenience.
