Declaration of Public Holidays

Pursuant to section 3 of the public holiday act, 29th April 2022 has been declared a public holiday throughout the republic in order to accord all Kenyans the opportunity to participate in the state funeral service in honour of the life of the late H.E. Mwai Kibaki, the third president of the Republic of Kenya.

Further, Monday 2nd May, 2022 shall be a holiday since 1st May, 2022 falls on a Sunday.

Lastly, pursuant to section 2 (1) of the public holidays’ Act, 3rd May, 2022, shall be a public holiday to mark ldd – ul – Fitr.

The Exams scheduled on 29th April 2022 and 3rd May, 2022 have been spread between Wednesday 4th May, 2022 to Friday 6th, May 2022. A revised examination timetable will be uploaded on the website on Friday 29th, April 2022.
