Meru University of Science and Technology, Fashion and Design Management level 6 pioneer class, hosted the first fashion show in the university.

The 2023 September intake fashion students mesmerized the audience as they showcased their project coursework. The invited guests were the University Vice Chancellor, The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Director TVET, SAMU president, student leaders, staff and students.

The items showcased included, women’s wear, men’s wear, lingerie wear, corporate wear, costumes, bridal wear and interior décor. The interior décor was divided into four settings; A bedroom setting, a sitting room setting, a dinning setting and a picnic setting. The students made the apparel items under each setting, which included the curtains, floor mats, pillows and pillowcases, duvet, wall art, lampshade, mirror décor, table cloth, table mats, seat covers and table runners.
