2nd Annual International Conference
We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will take place from 26th to 28th June 2023. The theme of this year’s conference is “Leveraging Interlinkages among the SDGs to Realize the 2030 Agenda through Research and Innovation in the Post Covid Era”.
The conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, civil society and other stakeholders from different disciplines and regions to share their insights, experiences and solutions on how to address the complex and interrelated challenges of achieving the SDGs in a post-pandemic world.
The conference will feature keynote speeches, plenary sessions, parallel sessions, poster presentations, workshops and networking opportunities. The topics will cover various aspects of the SDGs. The conference will have nine sub-themes or tracks that will explore specific issues and opportunities related to the main theme. These are:
- Agriculture, Food Security, Safety and bio-security
- Health Interventions for Global Pandemics through Innovation
- Disruptive technologies for sustainability in the circular economy
- Climate change: adaptation, mitigation, resilience
- Reimagining pure and applied sciences for the post pandemic future
- Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and SDGs
- Integrating the social sciences in pandemic preparedness and response
- Education for sustainable development for the world in the time and beyond pandemics
- Business, Economy and society: challenges in the post pandemic era
The conference will showcase some of the innovative research and initiatives that are being undertaken by various institutions and organizations around the world to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The conference will provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas, learn from each other, forge collaborations and identify gaps and opportunities for future research and action.
