The Meru University Tourism Club (MUTC), proudly known as the Meru Uni Globetrotters, was officially established on 15th December 2025 under the auspices of Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST). Its launch was marked by a vibrant and memorable ceremony that brought together university leadership, regional stakeholders and members of the academic community. The event was graced by distinguished chief guests, Mr. Silas Ekesa, Head of Wildlife Clubs in the Mt. Kenya region and Mr. John Nabiswa, Forester from Tigania East, whose inspiring presence emphasized the critical link between tourism, conservation and youth empowerment.

Driven by a bold vision to become a leading university-based tourism platform, MUTC is dedicated to shaping globally aware, responsible, and innovative students.
