MUST Collaborates with Higher Education Partners – UK
Meru University of Science and Technology is delighted to partner with Higher Education Partners (HEP) – UK to support our mission of achieving academic excellence by increasing the range of our programmes that are delivered online.
At Meru University, we believe Education should be available for everyone. Partnering with HEP opens doors for anyone across the globe to have the opportunity to learn and improve the quality of their life.
In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, when over half of the world’s population was in lockdown and people were encouraged to use the time to self-study and learn new skills, Online learning was among the few tools the world could use to restore some semblance of sanity and hope. Students were able to shut out the heinous effects of the pandemic affecting the world and lose themselves into studying and engaging.
HEP Partnership/Managing Director, Mr. Martin Njogu during the launch described this collaboration as a defining moment to put pen to paper in support of education.
This partnership speaks to the duty we have to reach millions of people across the world with opportunities for Quality education and training. HEP stands to be the best partner on this journey going by their impressive track record, undeniable passion for education access and keen focus on quality.
Meru University is in this for the long haul. Our aim is to maintain high retention rates with the online programmes and have this World Class University of Excellence serve the world.
Speaking during the launch, MUST Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo said, “Meru University should be able to train a family in Sunderland on how to turn their human waste into wealth, within their ranch through the Master of Science in Sanitation. As we receive the September Intake applications for postgraduate studies, the PhD Class of Molecular Medicine should be available in Cardiff.”
