Responsible Computing Begins with me

In a world where responsible computing is paramount, one team is leading the charge to make a difference. The Meru University of Science and Technology Responsible Computing team led by Dr. Mary Mwadulo, Dr. Amos Chege and Antony Irungu all from The School of Computing and Informatics (SCI, had the privilege to host Dr. Chao Mbogho the Kenya Lead Responsible Computing Initiative. Joining the discussion to represent top management was Prof. Makau Mutua the Dean School of Computing and Informatics.

With the project in full swing, Dr. Mbogho leads the team in a follow-up meeting to discuss the latest developments and chart the course for the future. The agenda was packed with insightful discussions, key insights, and strategic planning geared towards analyzing lessons learned, and mapping out the next steps to drive impactful change in the responsible computing landscape.

As the pilot phase of the Responsible Computing project draws to a close in May 2024, the responsible computing team marches forward with unwavering determination, ready to take the next step.
