THE INAUGURAL MUST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (MUSTIC 2022)
A 3-Day International Conference focusing on our University’s commitment to Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development.
Meru University of Science and Technology is thrilled to host the Inaugural Research and Innovation conference from Tuesday, 28th to Thursday 30th June 2022. MUSTIC is a hybrid conference converging researchers, innovators, students and key public sector organizations with the knowledge, skills and expertise related to research and innovation. 6 countries united with one goal: to grow together through education.
The MUST family appreciates the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, Amb. Simon Nabukwesi for officially opening the conference on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 at the newly constructed Engineering Complex amphitheater. The Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education and Research, commended MUST Council and Management for internationalization of the University.
Amb. Nabukwesi encouraged all participants to make strides in research and innovation citing them as critical areas that impact the world social-economically. `
The MUST family is deeply grateful to our partners, National Research Fund, The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority and the Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC, (KenGen) for investing in our vision to create a platform designed to empower researchers and innovators for years to come. Our University is keen to partner with public sector organizations in order to offer the relevant support necessary for research and innovation best practices.
The MUST Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo applauded the Keynote Speakers for their commitment, time and valuable knowledge. The University’s evolution extends well beyond physical change. Laying great emphasis on incubating new ideas and technologies within our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is a mission we are invested in as a council.
