The Success Story of ENGAGE Graduates at MUST
On Friday, 30th August 2024, we marked a proud moment for the ENGAGE Project at Meru University of Science and Technology as 15 remarkable young women graduated from their intensive 4-week training program. This milestone is about the beginning of a journey filled with potential, growth, and leadership.
The graduation ceremony, held on our Campus, was graced by the inspiring presence of Prof. Charity Gichuki, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Planning), who represented the Vice-Chancellor. In her address, Prof. Gichuki reminded us all of the power of resilience and the importance of empowering women to take charge of their futures. She applauded the graduates for their dedication, highlighting the significant impact they are destined to make in their communities.
This celebration transcended our campus boundaries, as it was streamed live via Zoom, connecting us with our partner universities across the ENGAGE network. Together, we shared in the joy and pride of this achievement, united in our mission to empower and uplift.
As these young women step into their 6-week internships, we look forward to watching them apply their newly acquired skills in the real world. The future is bright, and these graduates are ready to lead the way!
Congratulations to our ENGAGE graduates. Your journey has just begun and we are cheering you on every step of the way!
