MUST Celebrates the 9th Graduation Ceremony

The world is a better place; 1,775 holistically developed graduates equipped with Quality Education and Training joined the global industry on Friday, 27th May 2022 during the Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) 9th Graduation Ceremony (virtual). We celebrated the MUST Class of 2022, a group of strong, purposeful and resilient problem solvers.

A captivating message from the office of the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, Prof. George Albert Magoha, quoting the Apple Founder and Late CEO, Steve Jobs during the Stanford University Graduation on June 12th, 2005. These words served as an encouragement to the MUST graduands as they transition to start off their careers:

9th Graduation Ceremony

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become… Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish (Jobs, 2005).”

It was indeed a great day as Meru University received the ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 – Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification during our 9th Graduation Ceremony. The award, presented by The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KeBS) Mt. Kenya Regional Manager, Ms. Caroline Outa-Ogweno was received by MUST Chairman of Council, Prof. Bosire Monari Mwebi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo and Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ASA) Prof. Simon Thuranira.
