Kindly inform the research staff and postgraduate students that there will be a one day workshop on Tuesdays 7th June 2022 at TB Lab10. A geographic information system (GIS) is a software application that captures, stores, checks, and displays data about locations on the Earth’s surface. The workshop will enable learners have basic knowledge and skills on spatial data collection and drawing their on maps to display the collected information.

The workshop will commence from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. The participants (No. 22) will be selected based on first response to this email to: jrutto@must.ac.ke. The attendees are requested to come with a, pen, note book and smartphone for the practical (GPS data collection).
