MUST Wins National Table Tennis Title
Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) is the Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) National Table Tennis Champion. During a meeting with members of staff from the Sports Department and the Table Tennis Team the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo, heartily congratulated the team for lifting the MUST flag high by winning the National Championship Title. The Team officially presented the Trophy to the Vice-Chancellor in the meeting.
MUST sports champions continually lead the charts in competitive national sporting events. There are a variety of indoor, board and outdoor sporting activities from rugby, badminton, chess, table tennis, baseball, roll ball, wood ball, netball, darts, volleyball, football, basketball, swimming and athletics among others.
The sports family within the MUST community inscribes resilience, tenacity and team spirit in all players. These activities serve as key factors in establishing the wholesome university
student experience required in nurturing holistically developed graduates. Our sports champions perform at an elite level in their sports and studies. It is this holistic approach that creates champions on the field and in the community.
We exist because our community believed in education and a brighter future for themselves and our country. Through the Meru Council of Elders, Njuri Ncheke, land was donated to kick-start the journey to build a dream University.
Student Life at MUST

These cultures are unified and embraced through positive human interaction.
Student-led clubs and societies fashion the creative and safe spaces for dialogue, debates, research, innovation, talent development, social movements and fun. This continues to cultivate the strong sense of belonging and unity enjoyed within the MUST community.
MUST students get to learn who society is and most importantly, their role in making our world a better place. Personal life skills are identified, learned and nurtured.
