MUST sports champions continually lead the charts in competitive national sporting events. There are a variety of indoor, board and outdoor sporting activities from rugby, badminton, chess, table tennis, baseball, roll ball, wood ball, netball, darts, volleyball, football, basketball, swimming and athletics among others.

The sports family within the MUST community inscribes resilience, tenacity and team spirit in all players. These activities serve as key factors in establishing the wholesome university

student experience required in nurturing holistically developed graduates. Our sports champions perform at an elite level in their sports and studies. It is this holistic approach that creates champions on the field and in the community.

We exist because our community believed in education and a brighter future for themselves and our country. Through the Meru Council of Elders, Njuri Ncheke, land was donated to kick-start the journey to build a dream University.

Student Life at MUST

As a MUST student you will have numerous opportunities for personal development. All we require you to have is the initiative to continually evolve. We guide our students to realize and maximize their potential. Ubuntu is our way of life. The MUST community is made up of diverse cultures and experiences brought together by the main aim to acquire quality education. These cultures are unified and embraced through positive human interaction.

Student-led clubs and societies fashion the creative and safe spaces for dialogue, debates, research, innovation, talent development, social movements and fun. This continues to cultivate the strong sense of belonging and unity enjoyed within the MUST community.

MUST students get to learn who society is and most importantly, their role in making our world a better place. Personal life skills are identified, learned and nurtured.

“We believe that every person is born with a talent and we are here to nurture yours.” Prof. Romanus Odhiambo, Vice-Chancellor – MUST
